1. About AFSSA
AFSSA (Annual Floor Safety Standard Assurance) is operated by AFSSA Ltd, registered at Office 941, 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW, United Kingdom, with an operational base in Portsmouth, Hampshire. AFSSA is an independent UK framework providing condition-led flooring safety assessments. AFSSA is not a regulator, statutory authority or government body. Findings and certification reflect the independent professional opinion of the AFSSA assessor at the date of assessment.
2. Use of this website
This website is provided for general information about the AFSSA framework. Content is provided in good faith and may be updated from time to time. You agree not to misuse the site or attempt to access non-public areas.
3. Assessment services
Where AFSSA delivers an assessment, a separate engagement letter or proposal will set out the scope, deliverables, fees and timing. The AFSSA Annual Certificate, where issued, reflects the condition of the assessed site at the date of assessment and is valid for 12 months.
4. Intellectual property
All AFSSA branding, framework materials, reports, templates and certificates are the intellectual property of AFSSA. Materials are provided to clients for their internal use; redistribution or commercial reuse requires written permission.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFSSA's liability arising from use of this website or framework materials is limited. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or any liability which cannot be lawfully excluded.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
