1. Who we are
AFSSA (Annual Floor Safety Standard Assurance) is operated by AFSSA Ltd, registered at Office 941, 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW, United Kingdom. Our operational base is in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We are currently conducting a South Coast of England pilot programme, with the intention of supporting organisations across the United Kingdom as the framework develops.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — including name, organisation, email address, telephone number, sector and enquiry details — through our website forms, email and phone correspondence. We may also collect basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) and analytics data through cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver assessment services, manage certifications and the Concern & Repair Log, and to maintain a record of correspondence. We do not sell personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with carefully selected service providers (for example, IT and email service providers) under appropriate contractual protections.
4. Lawful basis
We process personal information on the basis of your consent (where you submit an enquiry), the performance of a contract (where AFSSA delivers services to your organisation) and our legitimate interests in running and improving the AFSSA framework.
5. Data retention
We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up your enquiry, and assessment data for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period thereafter to support audit, due diligence and reassessment cycles.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, restrict or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@afssa.co.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
